50x50cm acrylic and silver leaf on cradled wood panel (3cm deep)
Cadiz is famous for its beaches but also its salt flats. We have many little salt factories which produce the most fabulous natural sea salt ever! These flats are also a haven for wildlife, especially flamingos and beautiful wild flowers in the spring. They are often overlooked in favour of the beaches, but personally, I love them and the tranquility they offer. This painting was inspired by Sancti Petri and the lovely salt flats close to an old marina. Such a soft and calming palette with a little silver to capture the reflection on the water.
Salty waters - 50 x 50cm (20 x 20 inch) SOLD
SHIPPING: International delivery varies. The shipping amount shown at checkout covers some of the cost – I’ll cover the rest! There are some art shipping specialists who can ship art in crates which you may wish to consider for larger or more delicate pieces - if you would like this bespoke service please contact me before purchasing an item as this could increase the cost. If standard shipping costs are substantially higher than the amount shown at checkout I will contact you and there may be an additional amount to pay which can be invoiced separately. If this is not acceptable, your purchase will be refunded in full. Please send me an email if you would like me to check in advance. If you live in the Cadiz Province, I can personally deliver it for free or you can collect it from my studio. Please email me if this is a preferred option for you.
TAX & CUSTOMS FEES: Some countries charge additional fees for importing/handling art. I cannot be held accountable for any delays caused by world events, customs or any handling fees/ import taxes incurred if applicable. Please ensure that the contact details you provide are correct as these will ensure that any of these departments are able to contact you directly with queries should the need arise during transit.
UK CLIENTS: please note that I have not included the UK in terms of being able to fulfil an order here online. This is due to the additional cost implications of import and export taxes post BREXIT. I welcome buyers from my birth country and to ensure that you are aware of the costs before buying, I invite you to email me with details of the painting you are interested in buying so that we can fully determine the best estimate of costs and delivery timescales to avoid any ambiguity or avoidable disappointment.
